Magnetoelectroelastic media containing a row of moving shear cracks

► The elastic, electric and magnetic fields around a row of moving magnetoelectroelastic, moving strip-cracks are studied. ► An extension of the dislocation layer technique to magnetoelectroelastic materials is utilized. ► The resultant stress, electric and magnetic intensity factors are calculated. ► The variation of the shear stress component with distance on the crack line for a range of parameters is presented.
