Fibers breaking process in composites models and numerical simulations applying cellular automata

The paper presents the application of cellular automata (CA) method for simulations of fibers breaking process in composites. Cellular automata (CA) method is described in the first part of this paper. The next part includes the description of CA method used for fibre breaking process in composites and few examples of application. The last part presents possibility of simultaneous usage, acoustic emission and CA simulations.
