چکیده انگلیسی
In this work, we study elastic properties of metals in order to determine relations between their acoustic parameters and their structures. The investigations were carried out, via a non-destructive ultrasonic method, on several metals with different structures: cubic centered (CC), faced centered cubic (FCC) and hexagonal compact (HC). The acoustic response of these metals shows that, the generalized Rayleigh velocity decreases exponentially as a function of the interatomic distance for CC, FCC and HC structures; this dependence was quantified by semi-empirical equations. This observed behavior, due to the crystalline structures, is also extended and computed for different types of acoustic impedances: longitudinal, transverse, and that of the whole solid; linear dependences were deduced with different slopes according to each parameter. These results are very important in the evaluation of the interdependence between structure and elastic parameters and then deduce the elasticity and rigidity of metals
