Exchange bias effect in nickel zinc ferrite-mesoporous silica nanocomposites

► Synthesis of ferrite-mesoporous silica nanocomposite (NC) using impregnation route. ► NC shows room temperature exchange bias (EB) under field cooled condition. ► NC shows EB due to diffusion of Fe3+/Ni2+ from ferrite to the silica glass.
