DsJ(2860) resonance and the sℓP=52−cs¯ (cq¯) doublet

We analyze the recently discovered DsJ(2860) meson using arguments based on the heavy quark expansion together with the experimental observations. We consider the possible quantum number assignments, in particular the interpretation of the meson as the JP=3−cs¯ state.
