Preparation, characterisation and processing of carbon fibre/polyamide-12 composites for selective laser sintering

► Carbon fibre/polyamide-12 composites were developed for selective laser sintering. ► A dissolution-precipitation process was used to prepare the composites. ► Uniform dispersion and good interfacial adhesion were achieved. ► Flexural strength, modulus and thermal stability were enhanced. ► Complex parts with high density were manufactured using the composites.
