C-Reactive Protein Levels and Radiation-Induced Mucositis in Patients With Head-and-Neck Cancer

There was a significant correlation between the presence of acute mucositis and CRP level in this study. The CRP level could be conveniently determined along with evaluation of mucosal reactions during or after radiotherapy to provide further information on radiation-induced mucositis.
