A Phase II trial of subcutaneous amifostine and radiation therapy in patients with head-and-neck cancer

Conclusions: Subcutaneous amifostine provides a well-tolerated yet simpler alternative to i.v. amifostine for reducing acute xerostomia in head-and-neck cancer patients.
