Equilibria of biological aggregations with nonlocal repulsive-attractive interactions

► We study finite-size and compactly-supported swarm equilibria in multiple dimensions. ► Social interactions consider Newtonian repulsion and power-law attraction between individuals. ► Equilibria are shown to be radially symmetric and monotone in the radial coordinate. ► Asymptotic results are derived in various regimes of the exponent in the power-law attraction.
