Appraisal of the crop-rotation effect of rhizobial inoculation on potato cropping systems in relation to soil bacterial communities

► First report addressing crop-rotation effects in relation to soil communities. ► Inoculation induced significant changes in bulk-soil communities. ► A significant difference in richness between simple and dual inoculation was found. ► The extent of these changes marked also the second crop season. ► Potato yield and wireworm biocontrol were enhanced.
