Spreading speed of the delayed Fisher equation without quasimonotonicity

This paper is concerned with the long time behavior of the delayed Fisher equation without quasimonotonicity. It is shown that, when the instantaneous self-limitation effect dominates the corresponding delayed effect, the spreading speed is the same as that of the classical Fisher equation.
