On the uniqueness of z-weak solutions of the three-dimensional primitive equations of the ocean

In this article, we study the primitive equations (PEs) of the ocean when the initial data belongs to L6(M)L6(M) with its derivative in the vertical direction in L2(M)L2(M). We prove the existence and uniqueness, globally in time, of solutions which are weak in the horizontal direction and strong in the vertical direction.
