After a suitable value of time lag ττ had been decided, the time-series embedding space about crude copper composition such as percent of containing copper, percent of containing oxygen and percent of containing sulfur was rebuilt based on the theory of chaos and fractal, and their changing regularities of the value of the correction dimension were gotten in different embedded spaces. The results reveal that there are fractal and chaotic behaviors in the crude copper composition time series from the copper convertor. In the dynamical system of crude copper composition from copper convertor, there are seven internal factors at best and three internal factors at least for percent of containing copper, but there are five internal factors at best and two internal factors at least for percent of containing oxygen and there are seven internal factors at most and three internal factors at least for percent of containing sulfur. The study result is very useful for establishing forecasting model of crude copper composition from convertor.
