In 2002, we have described some biological markers of diabetes. In this article we present some non-exhaustive news about diabetes concerning gestational diabetes and microalbuminuria. Unfortunately there is no international consensus for gestational diabetes screening. The different tests are presented. About microalbuminuria, the new ghost albumin is presented. This non-immunoreative albumine is founded in urines of non-diabetic and diabetic subjects and its evaluation could be an earlier marker for the screening of nephropathy.
