Analysis of the gyro misalignment angle in Goniometer based on fiber optic gyroscope

The basic principle of an angle measuring system using the fiber optic gyroscope (FOG) was introduced. The misalignment angle error of this system was analyzed theoretically. A tilt sensor for accurate measurement of the inclination angle was proposed for compensating this gyro misalignment angle. Experimental results showed that this method was effective for reducing the systematic error.
