Expression of proliferin-related protein in testis and the biological significance in testosterone production

► We report herein for the first time that PRP is expressed in male rat testis. ► The expression of PRP in testis exhibits an age-dependent manner. ► PRP is regulated by HCG and plays roles in male reproductive function.
