The LEO-Ground FSO link is a unique link in the space-based satellite optical network, in which the capabilities are influenced by the various kinds of atmospheric effects. The atmospheric refraction and beam wander influence on the acquisition are addressed in this research, especially under the scene of large zenith angle in the LEO-Ground link. The model is established and the numerical simulation is carried out in a simplified LEO-Ground link scenario basing on the profile model of pressure and temperature Cn2. The result shows that the atmospheric refraction and beam wander at large zenith angle will considerable increase required uncertainty cone and total scan time. In addition, the optimal acquisition starting zenith angle for the maximum data transmitting time is also estimated. This research provides an uncertainty cone design method at large zenith angle and presents a suggestion for improving transmitting time.
