The analysis of the sensitivity of decentration for correcting individual Zernike terms is important for customized correction. Based on the wavefront transformation, the induced aberrations and corresponding optical quality from decentration were studied. The results revealed that the tilt was induced from decentration for correcting all individual terms. The sensitivity of decentration varied with the individual Zernike terms and it increased as the radial order increase. When only coma or secondary coma was corrected, the induced aberrations were related with the mismatch angle. Some individual Zernike terms in higher-order aberrations may not be corrected in a customized vision correction because they have a high sensitivity of decentration. However, the spherical aberration should be corrected due to the low sensitivity of decentration on optical quality, even with a little large decentration.
