Magnetic lenses performance with fields of the form B(Z)∝Zn

Performance of magnetic lenses with fields of the form B(z)∝Zn was studied. To compare the performance of different objective lenses the results are presented in W. Tretner's [Existenzbereiche rotations symmetrischer Elektronenlinsen, Optik 16 (1959) 155–184] form.
