The medicinal value of Memecylon umbellatum leaf extract

Although the results of this study suggest the usefulness of M. umbellatum in the treatment of various diseases, in depth studies are needed to substantiate this. The isolation of individual active components from the extract and their detailed analysis should reveal the exact structure - function relationship.
