Antiproliferative effect of Woodfordia fruticosa Kurz flowers on experimentally induced hepatocellular carcinoma in rats and in human hepatoma cell line

The potential antioxidant and chemopreventive activities of MEWF may be due to its free radical scavenging and antiproliferative effect. Therefore, W. fruticosa may serve as a novel therapeutic agent for the treatment of radical mediated liver diseases particularly hepatocellular carcinoma.
