Analysis of Slip MHD Nanofluid Flow on Entropy Generation in a Stretching Sheet

The present study investigates analytically the effect of partial slip magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) nanofluid flow on entropy generation in a stretching sheet by hyper-geometric function. Lie's scaling group of transformations are used to convert the partial differential equations of the governing equations into non-linear ordinary differential equations. The effect of pertinent parameters such as magnetic parameter, nanosolid volume fraction parameter, partial slip parameter and suction parameter are discussed for both velocity and temperature profiles. Also, the effects of partial slip parameter with the nanosolid volume fraction parameter, magnetic parameter, suction parameter and Reynolds number on the entropy generation are discussed for Ag nanoparticles. It is found that, the presence of nanosolid volume fraction parameter and partial slip parameter decreases the entropy generation in the flow region.
