Strength Analysis of Anisotropic Thermal Barrier Coating under Heat Shock

The deformation behavior of anisotropic thermal barrier coatings is investigated using computer modeling. The mechanism of instability occurring in these coatings resulting from their representation in the form of the plate on the elastic foundation is discussed.
