In Poland, the awareness of pediatric patient safety risks is poorly understood. Additionally, there is no publicly available incident reporting system in pediatric health care. This publication, based on principles of the American Academy of Pediatric (AAP), presents the unique perspective to children in health care and discusses the further direction of changes in the field of pediatric patient safety in Poland.
