Emploi de l'humour dans la relation infirmier/personne malade : une revue de la littérature et synthèse

Humor plays an important role in human interactions, which promotes communication between nurse-person in a situation of disease. A systematic literature review was conducted in order to identify the factors that influence the use of humor in nursing care, in the perspective of the person in a situation of disease, and its benefits in the nurse-person interaction in situation of disease. The electronic search was conducted using scientific databases from 2006 until May 2016. For nurses, humor is humanizing, manages emotions, reduces tension, improves communication as well as, the hospital experience. In the perspective of the person in a situation of disease, humor presents benefits in the therapeutic interaction based on greater participation on their part. The factors influencing the use of humor and its benefits in nursing care were identified.
