Is the Occlusion Site of the Lenticulostriate Artery Identified on Admission Related to Clinical Prognosis in Patients with Lacunar Stroke?

Proximal occlusion of the LSA was independently related to elevated triglyceride and white blood cell counts. Patients with LS with proximal LSA occlusion had severe neurological deficits both on admission and at discharge.
