Problems of sport engineering in teaching theoretical mechanics

Sport engineering gives good illustrations of the basic laws of theoretical mechanics and interesting examples that attract the students’ attention to this academic discipline. Differential equations and general theorems of dynamics allow us to describe the considered phenomena qualitatively correctly. The obtained solutions may be refined by the application of more sophisticated models.
