MTS is predominantly found in women with a mean of age of 40 years old. There is a significant association between MTS presence and lower limb and lumbo-pelvic symptomatology, not classically associated with the syndrome description. Also, the risk of having a lumbo-pelvic disease in the context of MTS is significant.
