Clinical characteristics and outcome of isolated infrarenal aortic stenosis in young patients

Isolated infrarenal aortic stenosis in young patients is primarily a disease of women. Most of these patients are heavy smokers with hyperlipidemia. PTA alone or with stenting has favorable midterm results.
