Three phase-ictal scalp EEG patterns in patients with seizures arising from the cortex facing the interhemispheric fissure

The 3Ph-EEG may be observed preferentially in patients with focal seizures from IHF cortex. Observation of the ictal phases on scalp EEG may warrant consideration of intracranial EEG sampling for the presurgical evaluation.
