Clinical influence of preoperative factor XIII activity in patients undergoing pancreatoduodenectomy

Unexpectedly high proportions of patients undergoing pancreatoduodenectomy had low preoperative FXIII activities. Preoperative FXIII deficiency may increase intraoperative bleeding but had no influence on the postoperative outcomes.
