Mortality in Living Kidney Donors With ESRD: A Propensity Score Analysis Using the United States Renal Data System

We observed a lower mortality rate in living kidney donors with ESRD compared with matched nondonors. This data should guide clinicians in the informed consent process with prospective donors.
