Method to evaluate the quality of work place health promotion in security organisations

A method for assessing the quality of workplace health promotion (WHP) in security organisations (WHP-SEC method) was developed and evaluated. It is based on the quality criteria and questionnaire for self-assessment “Healthy Employees in Healthy Organisations-Good Practice in Workplace Health Promotion in Europe” and the Finnish concept for the promotion of work ability. The current version of the WHP-SEC method seems to be valid, reproductive, and feasible. It helps the evaluation of the entire WHP process. The WHP-SEC method is anticipated to be suitable for self-evaluation, benchmarking activities and external evaluations of the quality of the WHP in security organisations.
