Reduced I waves facilitation by a paired-pulse TMS in patients with SCA6

Intracortical I waves facilitation using a paired-pulse paradigm was significantly reduced in SCA6, whereas for early intracortical inhibition, no significant change was found. Both the first facilitatory peak and the second peak in I waves facilitation were reduced.
