Long-lasting effects of paired associative stimulation in hemiparetic stroke patients

In stroke hemiparetic patients, as well as healthy subjects, paired stimulation increases the corticomotor excitability for short periods after stimulation. This finding might have potential therapeutic implications for stroke rehabilitation.
