Efficacy and complications of covered Wallstents in malignant distal biliary obstruction

Deployment of a covered Wallstent is safe and relatively easy. It achieves biliary drainage with an acceptable risk to benefit ratio in the majority of patients with distal malignant biliary obstruction.
