EUS-guided Trucut biopsy of suspected nonfocal chronic pancreatitis

Transgastric EUS-TCB of suspected nonfocal CP infrequently demonstrates histologic CP in clinically suspected disease. Because of potential complications and limited diagnostic yield, this technique is not currently recommended for evaluation of these patients.
