Questionnaire-based Study on the Relationship between Pet-keeping and Allergic Diseases in Young Children in Japan

We found no evidence that pet-keeping protects people from developing various allergies. Conversely, indoor pets with fur have a slightly increased prevalence of atopic dermatitis.
