As a result of the computerization, it helps in decision making, in the surveillance of health markers, particularly in a chronic disease context, it reminds automatically the recommended lifestyle measures or the recorded contraindications, it helps evaluating the vocational practices, … Since August of 2004, a law imposes a computerized file for every patient in France; its effective application is scheduled for 2007.
