However the adoption of a barrier method such as the condom, means that the individual is conscious of such a need and finds that there are benefits mainly staying in good health. However the insufficient number of prevention and health promotion campaigns in France does not favour such an awareness. The availability of inexpensive female condoms in pharmacies, supermarkets as well as free distribution by certain institutions remains an unresolved question.
