Bacteriemia por Listeria en el tercer trimestre del embarazo

We present the case of a woman in the 32nd week of gestation who was admitted to our institution with fever of unknown origin and preterm labor. Blood culture led to a diagnosis of bacteremia due to Listeria monocytogenes, which was treated with intravenous ampicillin. Pregnancy ended at 34 weeks, and the neonate showed no signs of infection.
