On U-dominant dimension

Let Λ and Γ be artin algebras and UΓΛ a faithfully balanced selforthogonal bimodule. We show that the U-dominant dimensions of UΛ and UΓ are identical. As applications of the results obtained, we give some characterizations of the double U-dual functors preserving monomorphisms and being left exact respectively.
