Size-focusing of ZnS nanocrystals observed by MALDI-TOF mass spectroscopy

We have investigated the size-evolution process of ZnS NCs using the MALDI-TOFMS instrument. The size estimations obtained by MALDI-TOFMS are relatively in good agreement with those by UV-vis spectroscopy and transmission electron microscope. MALDI-TOFMS elucidates the thermodynamically stable sizes and unique size-evolution process of ZnS NCs.
