Modeling, bifurcation, and chaotic behaviour of a coupled acetylcholinesterase/choline acetyltransferase enzymes neurocycle

This investigation may be useful to uncover some characteristics of the important neurocycle of acetylcholinesterase/choline acetyltransferase enzymes system. The bifurcation, instability, and chaotic behavior are investigated with special emphasis on neural transmission in the human brain. This type of work may help to stimulate new research directions on cholinergic brain diseases, such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's.
