Classical and semiclassical treatments of highly charged ions + H(1s) collisions

We present impact-parameter classical trajectory Monte-Carlo and molecular close-coupling calculations for total and partial cross sections for Ne10+, Ar18 + H(1s) collisions, which have recently became of interest in fusion plasma research.
