The 0.25μm front-end for the CMS pixel detector
چکیده انگلیسی
The front-end for the CMS pixel detector has been translated from the radiation hard DMILL process to a commercial 0.25μm technology. The smaller feature size of this technology permitted a reduction of the pixel size and other improvements. First results obtained with the translated chip are discussed.
