First optical beam profile measurements on an H−-source in Frankfurt

In the paper the ion source will be briefly introduced and the principles of the measurement device as well as the data analysis method will be described in detail. Time-resolved measurements in both transverse planes for different source parameters will be presented and the results will be discussed.
