Nasopharyngeal carcinoma with cranial nerve palsy: The importance of MRI for radiotherapy

Conclusion: The use of MRI was associated with improved tumor control and survival of patients with NPC causing CN palsy. Patients recovering from CN palsy had better survival. A higher radiation dose delivered by external beam may achieve better tumor control than brachytherapy.
