Efficacy and Safety of Scheduled Dosing of Opioid Analgesics: A Quality Improvement Study

Scheduled dosing of opioids in an inpatient medical population improves analgesia, theoretically by overcoming barriers to drug administration, as well as providing more stable plasma levels of the opioid.
