Stability of premixed syringes of diamorphine and hyperbaric bupivacaine

Diamorphine is stable in hyperbaric bupivacaine at 7°C for long enough to allow preparation of pre-filled syringes in advance (by hospital pharmacy aseptic units) for use in spinal anaesthesia.
